Though the narrative dances across both time and space, the undercurrents of colonial violence and its inevitable consequences imbues Visitation Seeds with an eerie resonance given Canada’s own history of colonization. Ghan’s tale is not a story but a journey to a place that is both dangerously foreign and familiar, a journey from which no one will return unchanged.
