Hi! My name is Ben Berman Ghan. I’m Jewish Settler, writer, editor, and academic based in Tkaronto/Toronto, site of Treaty 13 and Williams Treaty territory.
I am the author of many short stories, as well as a few poems and essays, and having recently finished my HBA at the University of Toronto, am now working on completing my MA in English Literature at Ryerson University. My novel What We See in the Smoke was published 2019 with Crowsnest Books, and the editor of the upcoming book Bruce Meyer: Essays and Interviews from Guernica Editions
I also work hard as an editor, and have served as the Fiction editor of The Spectatorial, as well as associate editor on both The Goose journal of short fiction, and the Hart House Review. I am currently the Prose editor of Terse Journal and the Poetry Editor of The White Wall Review.
